Architizer is the largest awards program in the world celebrating the year’s best architecture and products. This exclusive sink set, featuring the VIGO Matte Stone Peony Sink and Niko Vessel Faucet, was selected over thousands of others within its category.

The essence of quality is authenticity. VIGO’s Matte Stone™ is an ultra-durable solid surface composite designed to look and feel like carved, polished stone -- molded as a seamless piece. The piece is comprised of two components: The Matte Stone Peony Sink and Niko Vessel Faucet. Presented collectively, the sleek, minimalist design of the sink set, made possible by the unique Matt Stone material, enrich most architectural styles, both residential and commercial.

Traditional fireclay and porcelain products consist of an iron or clay core coated with enamel, which, over time, leads to unsightly cracks on the surface.

A solid-core PMMA composition prevents unsightly chips or scratches. Should any blemish incur, simply buff away with sandpaper.

Texture is key to the MattE Stone’s appeal -- THE piece is polished by hand to render a velvety finish. The basin features a classic apron style with a contemporary twist, reminiscent of the early modernist movement.

The faucet complements the basin, tapering throughout the breadth of the piece, allowing for fluid water flow.

The design renders more than an aesthetic appeal; it enhances functionality. The faucet is composed of 7-layer plated finish to prevent rust, ensure chemical stability, and mitigate wear over time. The tapered design of both faucet and basin was engineered to allow for even water dispersion. The quality material also warrants less maintenance.

With rounded contours and a sleek matte white finish that ties the set together, this piece upholds the highest standards for contemporary design.
