THIS BLOGGER GIVES HER ALL-WHITE KITCHEN RENOVATION A TOUCH OF GOLD

In this kitchen, the hardware stands out.

An all-white kitchen is timeless, clean, and bright, and when food blogger and founder of A Taste of Koko® Jane Ko bought her new home in Austin, she knew she wanted to make her dream of an all-white kitchen a reality. With the help of the best kitchen faucet sink from VIGO and a local design firm, she was able to create the kitchen of her dreams. Her new builder home came with all of the conventional features, and she knew she wanted to make it feel like her own with a custom renovation. The brassy-gold and white theme shine through and through even down to a white and gold stove top oven. Let’s take a tour of this bright white kitchen.

START WITH A WHITE CANVAS

Ko chose white cabinets and white countertops to start the kitchen remodeling process. A white tile backsplash was installed later. Ko mentions in her blog that she always wanted a white farmhouse kitchen sink so she replaced the builder’s stainless steel kitchen sink with a 36-inch Matte Stone™ farmhouse flat apron front kitchen sink from VIGO. The kitchen island countertops had to be replaced to install the undermount sink and the original chrome kitchen faucet was replaced with The VIGO Livingston Pull-Down Magnetic Kitchen Faucet in matte brushed gold

GIVE IT SOME SHINE

Ko’s decision to choose a matte gold kitchen faucet for the kitchen sink was made to match the brass fixtures, pulls, and appliances throughout the kitchen. Ko installed two elegant pendant lights with brassy hardware to illuminate the kitchen island with the sink. The brassy and gold-toned hardware elements stand out amongst the all-white backdrop and give the all-white kitchen a touch of style. All-white-everything kitchens can sometimes feel basic and boring but adding contrast and texture gives a monochrome space visual appeal.
